The Wise Alta deck is a phenomenal deal for its price point of $139. The Alta deck is aimed at intermediate to pro park riders with its 4.9 inch width and 22 inch length. The traditional dropouts on the Alta deck save weight and allow standard peg use. The steeper headtube angle allows more space between a rider's body and the bars, giving the rider more room to execute tricks. Welds between the neck and headtube create more rigidity than a standard forged headtube. The Wise deck is compatible with any wheel up to 125mm with a 24mm core and 8mm axles. While the Wise Alta deck is compatible with 12 STD wheels, 12mm axles are not included and must be purchased separately. Finally, the Alta deck looks great, which is always a plus.
The Wise Alta Deck is 4.9" wide by 22" long, with an 83.5 degree headtube angle. Headtube angle affects a couple of things. The steep rake of the Wise Deck makes it perfect for those riders who have mastered the single tail whip and are moving onto multiple whips. The steeper the headtube angle, the more the Alta Deck whips around a flat plane with less resistance. Because the deck has boxed ends, we consider the Wise Scooter Deck to be a street deck but it's equally at home at the skatepark or in your hood. Pro Scooter Decks that are 22-22.99" long will be ideal for intermediate to pro riders that have been in the sport for a while or for those scooter riders that need a little more footspace. The Wise Alta Scooter Deck works with the following wheel diameters: 100mm,110mm,115mm,120mm,125mm and the following wheel widths: 24mm,26mm. Note that decks typically come standard with 24mm spacers. If you change the wheel core width, you will also need to change your spacers to accomodate the new wheel core width.
