Console came with a dead curcuit board or throttle. No power is going to the motor. The battery is brandnew. Alpha Pro Scooters have not responded to my emails. A recording is what dialing their phone got me (so far). If I go to their site I am ecouraged to chat with a bot. I am $200 in and I got nothing as far as my nephews scooter goes. I know it says strictly, eccept I have spent $200 and I still do not have a working console. I have build successfully many electric bike, scooters, mobility scooter ocer the recent years. I am familiar with the curcuitry how it works and what it is doing and how to check it. THE CONSOLE WAS DEAD ON DELIVERY. IT IS NOW EXACTLY THE SAME AS IT WAS WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED IN EVERYWAY, WHICH IS DEAD. POWER GOES UP TO IT...BUT NOTHING COMES BACK OUT OF IT. The wiring from the console to the wheel is good and working as designed eccept there is no power and no change in resistance apon throttle activation as should be...but when activating the brake there is a instant change on those same wires, as should be. Because when you apply the brake, not only not only is the brake activated but power to the motor is automaticly cut off until the brake is released. How can a company sell defective electronic and not expect to take a return. Why would they not want to make it right so that everyone ends up getting a fair deal and the part that they need? And why do you keep taking my reveiws down as fast as I can write them. Isnt that against the law? Maybe not but certianly dishonest. Each one is alittle different because there is more to this situation then I can get down in one review. So you are looking at a summary. And that is the experience that I had with Alpha Pro Scooters
