The 5.5" wide version of the Drone Element deck features 2 longer lengths than its little brother, the 5" wide deck. While the 5" wide deck is only 19.3" long, the 5.5" wide version of the deck comes in 2 lengths, 20.9" or 22", making it a better option for the street rider. While the 20.9" deck is pretty nimble and could be used at the skate park, the larger version of the Element deck was designed for the street. With either 2 solid color ways - white or black or a unique 2-toned version in black/polished, the Element deck looks phenomenal and performs even better!
The Drone Element Deck is 5.5" wide by 20.9" or 22" long, with an 83.5 degree headtube angle. Headtube angle affects a couple of things. The steep rake of the Drone Deck makes it perfect for those riders who have mastered the single tail whip and are moving onto multiple whips. The steeper the headtube angle, the more the Element Deck whips around a flat plane with less resistance. Because the deck has boxed ends, we consider the Drone Scooter Deck to be a street deck but it's equally at home at the skatepark or in your hood. Pro Scooter Decks that are 22-22.99" long will be ideal for intermediate to pro riders that have been in the sport for a while or for those scooter riders that need a little more footspace. The Drone Element Scooter Deck works with the following wheel diameters: 100mm,110mm,115mm,120mm and the following wheel widths: 24mm,26mm,28mm,30mm. Note that decks typically come standard with 24mm spacers. If you change the wheel core width, you will also need to change your spacers to accomodate the new wheel core width.
