It takes a keen eye to spot the difference between the Origin Pro and the MGX P2 Pro scooters. The MGX sports the new MGX X headtube while the Origin Pro retains the classic Madd Gear headtube. Either deck looks awesome and makes the perfect park deck, with a size of 5" x 19.5". Bars are significantly wider and a little taller than the entry level bars found on its little brother, the Origin Shredder. The Origin Pro steps up its game bigtime with 120mm two tone hollow core wheels and IHC compression, making the Origin Pro a great park scooter. We at SCOOTERS have always thought that Madd Gear had some of the best graphics in the industry, but the two Origin colorways are ridiculously cool!
The Madd Gear Origin Scooter is built around a 5" by 19.5" deck with an 83 degree headtube angle. Because the deck does not have boxed ends, we consider the Origin Pro Scooter deck to be a park deck but it's equally at home at the skatepark or in your hood. Pro Scooter Decks that are 19-19.99" long will be ideal for intermediate to pro riders that have been in the sport for a while or for those scooter riders that need a little more footspace. The Madd Gear Origin Complete features standard outer diameter Y-Bars that are 23" tall by 21" wide. Bars this size are ideal for riders who are 4.5 to 5 feet tall. Bars and forks are tied together via an IHC compression system, which is a favorite among pro scooter riders. Finally, the Madd Gear Origin Pro rolls on 120mm x 24mm wheels, which are very fast and used by most pro riders. If you are looking for a capable park scooter, the Madd Gear Origin Complete Scooter might just be the scooter for you!
